3D Printing

A prototype, a spare part or a small series. We print it.

How it works: one part, five stages.

What we print02
01A first physical version before anything goes into production. Turn it over in your hands and see straight away whether the dimensions are right and the parts fit together. After a change we print a new version: several quick rounds cost less than one wrong mould.
Material01 / 07

PLA

The everyday choice: precise, cheap and easy.

  • Housings

Withstands up to55°C

Prototypes, models and everyday parts where precision and a clean surface matter. It does not take heat: in a car in the sun or in a dishwasher it deforms.

PETG

Stronger, tougher and moisture-resistant.

  • Brackets
  • Enclosures
  • Damp places

Functional parts, brackets and enclosures that must take moisture and a little bending. Fine detail and sharp edges come out slightly softer than in PLA.

ASA

For outdoors, sun and weather.

  • Garden fittings
  • Car parts
  • Outdoor lights

Withstands up to95°C

UV- and weather-resistant: garden fittings, car parts, housings for outdoor lights. Needs an enclosed chamber and prints more slowly: better for single parts than large runs.

ABS

The classic engineering plastic.

  • Mechanical parts
  • Sanded finishes
  • Tools

Withstands up to90°C

Strong and heat-resistant: mechanical parts that can be sanded and glued. In sunlight it yellows and turns brittle over time; ASA is better outdoors.

TPU

Flexible and soft, like rubber.

  • Seals
  • Bumpers
  • Protective cases

Seals, bumpers, protective cases, straps and anything that must bend and absorb a knock. Not for rigid precision parts or sharp edges.

PAnylon

Wear-resistant and tough.

  • Hinges
  • Sliding parts

Withstands up to120°C

Gears, hinges, sliding surfaces and load-bearing fixtures; the carbon-filled version is stiffer still. Absorbs moisture from the air, so for tight tolerances or damp places we usually pick something else.

PCpolycarbonate

The strongest and most heat-resistant.

  • Housings
  • Impact-resistant covers
  • Near motors

Our toughest material: housings, fixtures near motors, impact-resistant covers. Prints at a high temperature and large flat areas can warp; we check the geometry first.
